Nashville, TN – Jan. 31, 2012 – GRAMMY winning trio Lady Antebellum capped off the opening weekend of their Own The Night 2012 World Tour sponsored by GAC on Sunday by setting an all-time venue attendance record at Bloomington, IL's U.S. Cellular Coliseum, breaking the previous record held by superstar Kenny Chesney.  More than 32,000 fans packed arenas this weekend for the first three dates of the tour.
 

The Academy of Country Music has just announced the 2012 nominees for the ACM Awards and Lady A has received FIVE honors! One of those being Vocal Group of the Year which they won the past years in a row. Listed below are all of Lady A's ACM Nominations:

Last weekend was a memorable one for Lady A! In this week's Webisode Wednesday, Lady A takes home 'Top Vocal Group' and receives two 'Album of the Year' awards at this year's ACM Awards. Country Music's party of the year is almost here! Only 2 days left until the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Lady A is nominated for 3 ACM Awards, which include: Top Vocal Group, Album of the Year - Need You Now (Artists), and Album of the Year - Need You Now (Producers). This marks the second year in a row that Lady A has been nominated for Top Vocal Group.

Hi everyone, first of all I want to congratulate Lady A for their 3 ACM nominations!! They will for sure go home with all three trophies this year because no one in their category deserves it more. Now I have a HUGE FAVOR to ask all of you. I am a really big Lady A fan and a huge Keith Urban fan too and also a member of Monkeyville (Keith's fan club) As you know Keith is nominated once again for Entertainer of the Year which is a fan voted award. If any of you have seen Keith play live you know he is most deserving of this award this year.
