Congratulations to Charles and Dave for taking home the 2011 BMI Pop Song of the Year Award for "Need You Now."  The 59th annual BMI Pop Music Awards were held on May 17th in Los Angeles.

Congratulations to Hillary for taking home the SESAC 'Song of the Year' award for Lady Antebellum's hit song, "Need You Now" at the 15th Annual SESAC New York Music Awards.  After spending 5 consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard country songs chart, "Need You Now" has been certified triple Platinum. The song also dominated pop radio stations across the country landing at Number 1 in multiple formats and claiming the Number 1 spot on iTunes' singles chart in all genres.

Lady A is making the long trek back to the States today from their first ever tour to Australia and New Zealand.  The trio won over fans and critics during their six shows opening for Keith Urban before heading to New Zealand for their own headlining show at Auckland’s Civic Auditorium.

Lady Antebellum’s GRAMMY winning hit “Need You Now” became the No. one most downloaded country song of all time this week surpassing Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” to claim the title.  The track from their TRIPLE PLATINUM NEED YOU NOW recently earned GRAMMY awards for “Song of the Year,” “Record of the Year” and “Country Song of the Year.” 

Please help me think of the songs in history that compare with Need You Now. The only two that come to mind are Debbie Boone's You Light Up My Life and R Kelly's I Believe I Can Fly....please add more to this...
