Preston singing with Hillary Scott
Our school, Donelson Christian Academy, was devastated by the historic Nashville Flood, May 2010. Our entire school was submerged in water. It was the worst damaged school in Nashville. Because our campus was destroyed, we were moved to 2 local churches to finish our school year. Hillary Scott, from the country group Lady Antebellum, dropped by one day for a visit to our school. My son, Preston, happened to have his guitar that day. Hillary and Preston sang a duet together. We lost almost everything due to the flood, it was nice for the kids to just forget about everything for awhile and just sing. Where else but Nashville can a 10 year old rock out with a Grammy award winning superstar?

One of the greatest things
One of the greatest things about Hillary and Lady A is they are so down to earth. They did so much to help Nashville recover - YAY for them! Makes me want to live in Nashville for these types of opportunities.
