The images just makes me want

The images just makes me want to cry. It reminds me hurricane Katrina and the hurricane we had here in houston a few years ago. I hope that you and your families are all doing okay and your homes didn't get any water damage. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this trying time.

Lady A... thank you so much

Lady A... thank you so much for this! I work at the hotel and you showed my restaurant quite a few times, we're the one with the umbrellas. It's heartbreaking to see all of our landmarkds in shambles. I'm sure yall are just as devasted, hope all is well.

I only lived in TN for a short time, but it didn't take long to fall in love. Seeing it like this (especially the Opry, where I would love to one day work) is just devasting. It breaks my heart. I can't donate much, but I'm hoping even my little bit made a difference somewhere. Music City will be the greatest city in the world again! Thanks Lady A for that great (albeit heart wrenching) video.

This is so sad. I was in

This is so sad. I was in Nashville with my mom and friends a couple years ago attending the quilt show in the Opry convention center. Nashville is such a beautiful, beautiful place for something like this to happen. I sure hope all the places in and around Nashville will be restored back to it's original state especially the Grand Ole Opry. Gotta admit that I have never been to the Grand Ole Opry, but I've been inside the mall shopping around and eating at the awesome Aquarium restaurant. I'm glad I found me a guitar charm for my charm bracelet to remember the fun I had when I was down in Nashville :0). The flood makes me think about "Cooter's Place" 'cause I know it's right down the road from Wyndham Vacation Resort.

We have been coming to

We have been coming to Nashville for the past 16 years to visit friends. I always said when we left that I felt like I was leaving home, instead of going home. It breaks my heart to see the devastation!! We have been to most of the places in the video many times. Last summer we went to a benefit concert for Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital and were sitting on the banks of the River across from the Stadium. It is mind boggling to think how high that water got!! We were so worried about our friends, but thank God they were o.k.. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who were affected. Wish we could be there now to help, but we will be back in the Summer.
