Lady A And LiveStream Team Up With OfficeMax

Lady A is gearing up for their 2010 fan club party this Thursday in Nashville, and they want you to get involved! For a minimum $5 donation benefiting Nashville area flood victims, you can watch the party and see Lady A's performance via LiveStream HERE.
Just announced today, Lady A and LiveStream are partnering with OfficeMax to give back to TN flood victims even more. OfficeMax has committed $50,000 to provide supplies for local schools. As part of a fund-raising challenge, OfficeMax will match every dollar up to $50,000 donated for Nashville-area schools.
“As a company, we are acutely aware of challenges schools face in the best of times and we wanted to bring additional support to Nashville schools at this time of dire need” says Paul Hertz, OfficeMax, executive vice president, retail operations.
OfficeMax has also been a longstanding supporter of "A Day Made Better," giving 1,000 teachers at 1,000 schools across the country $1,000 to buy school supplies, since it is common for teachers to spend their own money (up to $4 billion each year) on supplies. “Along with our nonprofit partner, Adopt-A-Classroom, we strive to make at least one day better for teachers by providing them with essential classroom supplies,” Hertz adds.
