As a result of the terrible tragedy that occurred at the Indiana State Fair on August 13th, several bands have made the difficult decision to cancel their shows. Lady A's appearance, which was scheduled for August 19th will no longer be taking place. Ticket refunds will be honored by returning to the original point of purchase.

The band has made a formal statement in response to the horrible event that took place:

"We were so sad to hear what happened and have kept the families of those injured and especially those that lost their lives in our prayers."

Indiana State Fair tragedy

I was one of the people involved in this horrible accident and I was somehow helped out from under that stage and within feet of being trapped under it. (I personally say that God and my angels were there to help me) I was so very lucky but many were not. Music helps us to heal and forget. I had a front row center seat to see Lady A.and I can understand them feeling uneasy about coming here to do a show. I understand that Verizon and Conner Prairie volunteered their facilities for this show. I hope they will come here again soon and I can get that front row seat but I doubt that will ever happen for me again. Please continue to pray for all the injured, the families of the ones that lost their life that night and everyone that was traumatized by being a part of that tragic event.

Indiana State Tragedy

Still praying for the families of the injured and those who lost their lives in this tragedy. I just want to say that I am proud to be a "Hoosier" and know that when something this devastating has happened that we (Hoosiers) don't run away, we run to help in anyway possible. Thank you to everyone that ran to help, you are all awesome human being and true "HEROS".
