Born in the city and raised in the Country in a Small town Called Nipomo, Ca home to the world Famous Jocko's Steakhouse, home of PBR riders and breeders Gary and Judd Leffew, my mom delivered their mail for many years. Dorthea Lange shot her famous pictures of Migrant Mother in this town and i never even knew it until 2003 when i went to college and saw essays on it in my english book so i did my own essay since i went to school and church with most of the founding family.
that little church across the street from Jocko's used to be St. Josephs church, sang chior upstairs many sundays. I love singing I always wanted to be a singing star or show horses. How Ironic i never got to do either of those things No jobs available in 1979 wasnt happy in college, so I joined the Air Force to get a career jump started and was suprised that I became a Computer Systems Operator on main frame computers systems with a Top Secret Security clearance. Thats where i developed most of my hard work ethics. I got out in 1992 when my daughter was 1 year old. She was born on Mothers day May 12, in 1991. She is that beautiful girl on the right posted on my wall in facebook a graduate from the class of 2009 and Championed her 2nd 4H Horseshow ever last june. 5 years Later my oldest son was born in 1996 a spring baby March 21 is his Birthday Not such a easy pregnancy 2nd time arround i was working for a hospital doing data processing and working up to 12 hour days and on call up until 6 days before the drs induced me early due to medical reasons. That is the very blonde headed oldest son you see in facebook in the Youth Football Uniform Senior Division Champions last year. His 2nd year in Football ever. 7 years later Loren my youngest is added to our family on December 12, 2002. We did lose one family member the kids dad when he basically made a life choice decision that didnt include the kids or I. We Are Survivors of the strongest kind. My stepmom always told me God doesnt give you what you cant handle, As time went on i came to the conclusion that she was right. It left me a stronger more effective parent for my Kids. I love them all to pieces Im very proud of all three of them for the people they are turning out to be as long as i hold on to what i believe in for my kids and get through this teenage son who is 14 looking like a highschooler. size 13 shoe weighing in at 212 at 5'10 and growing more eats non stop at times and gorges on the fruit i buy. Loren the youngest i knew when he was born he was going to be different from the older 2, i could have sworn he was talking to me at 2 months old he is very visual learner, picks things up from watching the 1st time, just sorry his older brother couldnt learn from him on that. LOL. As i said before i have a very Musically minded family, my daughter learned the recorder and self taught herself piano. She Learned Violin in middle and HS, and sang in Chior for 4 years. The kids dad was a professional drummer in the 80s playing the LA circuit with all the huge rock bands until a tragic motorcycle accident ended his passion for the drums. The Boys both want to learn more music, their sister has been teaching them songs on the keyboard i want to get a full piano in my house but i keep debating its a small house not much room. We have access for the drums just no room to set up a 10 piece tama rockstar set. Both my sons are Autistic, I just started Advocating for the cause and for Saving lives in America, along with becoming a board member for Sojourn Services INC the agency who provided Lorens intervention. Zachary got mis diagnosed in like 1st grade with Severe ADHD Im still working on obtaining the right documents to get him the intervention he needs for school. Normal Classes he is failing from not having enough one on one intervention. Heads are definately going to be listening to me tomorrow as i speak for both my sons behalf for Tri Counties Regional Center. loren qualifies for services and zach doesnt. So Im a Mother, Veteran, Divorced Parent Survivor, Domestic Engineer,Plumber, Gardner, Mechanic, Primerica Rep, my kids best advocate. Sure i have alot on my plate these days. I love what God has shown me through the rough times and some just very recent. Life is what it is, and what you make it. I support Autism Awareness, American Wild horse preservation at http://www.returntofreedom.org, and other local agencies that have helped my family since i moved to Lompoc fm Moreno Valley in 2001. I think i have said enough about me dont you? LOL...
