9796tintruder:Also caught you in Portland on Tuesday night. Brought my daughters, 10-1/2 and 12, who absolutely loved the show. We were in the 2nd row, center, and had no problem whatsoever with the sound. It was GREAT.
My girls know you better than I do, so I don't know the name of the song where you all lined up across the stage, but the sound was captivating. Charles, your voice was magnificent! We're no strangers to concerts, having seen many shows in the last couple years, including the front row of Heart and Night Ranger last month. You guys put on a fantastic show and it's clear you're enjoying what you're doing. Best of luck to you and I hope to see you playing 35 years from now too!

Caught the show in Portland last night. As amazing as you guys are, your sound was way off base. So loud that the words were barely distinguishable if you didn't know the words. (Same for your opener David Nail - no idea what his songs were about altho' I liked the basic tunes.) The Schnitzer concert hall has fabulous acoustics and you could have gotten away with fewer decibels. Unless you are trying to go for the country "jam band" image, I suggest toning down the heavy guitar riffs. Your acoustic versions are so great! We are still big fans!

You show in Milwaukee last night was FANTASTIC!!! I brought my soon to be 5 year old with me and he was just bursting with joy. I saw you back in 2008 at Rock County fair, front row, and you were wonderful then too. Last night's show exeeded all my expectations and I cannot wait to see you in WI again!!!! =)
