I'm from a small town in central, PA. I graduated from Lock Haven University of PA in 2007 with a BS in Recreation Management and a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. I've been working for a local nursing home as a Recreation Therapist since October 2008. I'm proud to be a Christian, and the courage it lends me I like to use to help others. I'm especially fond of the good work Sophia's Heart Foundation is doing for so many families and children in need. My husband, Michael and I do not have any children of our own yet, but are Godparents to 2 beautiful boys-Aedan (2/09) and Brennan (1/10).
My musical tastes range from Frank Sinatra to Donell Jones. Country music tells the stories the heart cannot often muster up the courage to relive. I enjoy the soulful melodies and raw talent it produces. Aside from Lady Antebellum, I enjoy the music of Danny Gokey, Jake Owen, Sugarland, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Jimmy Wayne, Steel Magnolia, Keith Urban, Emily West, Justin Moore, Easton Corbin, Jason Derulo, Alicia Keys, Lee DeWyze, David Archuleta, Scott MacIntyre, Michael W. Smith, Smokie Norful, Matt Giraud, Chris Young, Gloriana, Billy Currington, Eric Church, Lifehouse, Justin Timberlake, Maxwell, Usher, John Legend, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Jimmy Wayne, Zac Brown Band (and many more).
When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling to concerts, going to the Florida beaches, visiting family/friends, playing with our 2 mini dachshunds-Quimby and Marley, camping, canoeing and Phillies baseball.
