I grew up an Army Brat and landed in Augusta, GA, in 1971. Joined Trinity-on-the-Hill UMC in 1973 where I met Angie and Van Haywood, and subsequently their children. They moved away, then back and I came to know Lisa, Dave's sister, best because she was nearest in age to my daughter, Joanne Peterson. I was a banker with Wachovia until I retired in 2002 and have been enjoying retirement and the benefits of having grandchildren close by since then. (Our son, Robbie, has 2 children and lives in Washington, GA.)
