Matthew Chase wrote BELIEVE, a tender love song for his then bride-to-be, Sarah. Sadly, just five months after the couple’s 11.07 wedding, Matthew Chase was killed shark diving, off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa. Since his death, his widow Sarah Tallman has continued the promotion of his music. Matthew Chase posthumously won the 2008 Indie Singer-Songwriter Association (ISSA) Song Contest Lyrics of the Year award for his song BELIEVE. His last CD "Everything," has the ISSA award-winning single, BELIEVE, as well as ISSA final nominees Single of the Year FEEL YOU NEAR and Best Pop song for ALL YOU GAVE. In 2009, BELIEVE placed as a semi-finalist in the Adult Contemporary (AC) category in the International Songwriting Competition.
Sarah was encouraged, and continued to secure numerous film/tv licensing deals including MTV, E! Networks, as well as a 2 song major artist/major label music deal for BELIEVE and ALL YOU GAVE! At this time, we still don’t know which artists are going to sing BELIEVE and ALL YOU GAVE, but we are talking to the biggest Pop and Country Superstars in the music industry! Additionally, Tallman is working with existing celebrity artists to host the EVERYTHING & AFTER concert, where a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Blue Bear School of Music in San Francisco.
