We are a Pop/Country duo, called Raintown, influenced by the great conversational writing style of American Country music and the infectious melodies of pop songs.

We are Paul Bain and Claire McArthur from Glasgow, Scotland! We love what we do! It’s our passion. It’s what drives us forward; it is in writing songs that evoke a certain emotion at a specific time or creating a lyric just for the sake of sharing a story. It is performing our music to a crowd. We really do love what we do! In our opinion, Lady A is a great model of how to be a successful act these days. Their success is not just deserved but earned and we respect that!
